Development of environmentally safe methods for consolidation of dusting surfaces of the tailing dumps
The authors propose a method for consolidation of dusting surfaces of the tailing dumps. The most effective way to achieve this purpose is the integrated use of coagulant and flocculent reagents. The data analysis shows that samples treated with composite lime and PAA-GS polyacrylamide solutions have the highest mechanical strength.

An alternative technology of ore excavation in contact with the filling mass
The authors propose a new resource-saving technology for extraction of ore deposited in contact with the filling mass. This technology enables better extraction of the mineral, reduces ore dilution with the backfilling material, improves profitability of the mineral resource industry, while ensuring safe working conditions. The authors recognize as the most effective one the scheme of ore extraction in contact with the filling mass by means of forming ductile filling masses with a strengthened layer along its contact with the mineral.
