- Abstract:
- In the open development of ore deposits, in order to establish rational volumes of reserves according to the degree of preparation for excavation, it is necessary to compare the amount of damage from equipment outages during blasting and the costs of forming and maintaining a reserve of exploded rock mass. The particular importance in the development of ore deposits is the constancy of the quality of ore supplied for processing. Fluctuations in the content of the mineral components in the mined ore depend on the technological reserve of the exploded ore, which creates the necessary conditions for the formation of a mineral flow of a certain quality. When determining the optimal volume of exploded minerals, it is necessary to take into account possible deviations in their quality from the requirements for the conditions of the enrichment regime. Dependencies influencing the volume of exploded rock mass reserve are considered. It has been proved that the optimal level of ready-to-excavate reserves on mining and overburden horizons will correspond to the minimum of the sum of certain categories of costs during open-pit development. Dependencies were identified and proved in determining the volume of reserves ready for excavation on mining and overburden horizons. The main aim. The purpose of the study was to consider the techniques of definition the optimal transient reserve of exploded rock mass during open mining. Methodology. Technical-economic and mining-technical analysis of determining ore reserves according to the degree of readiness for excavation for mining and technical conditions of steeply dipping ore deposits. Conclusions. To determine the rational volumes of reserves ready for excavation, it is necessary to take into account the mutual influence of the main factors: the cost of moving excavators; losses from maintaining during the year at all levels of reserves necessary for the complete removal of ore above the reserve strip of the working site; losses from an increase in the current stripping ratio; losses from a decrease in the productivity of a quarry for a mineral due to the need to maintain reserves; losses of under fulfillment of the plan due to unsatisfactory demand for the company’s products.
