- Abstract:
- The article considers the issue of reducing the resistance forces to digging on the excavator bucket. A cylindrical design of the excavator bucket is proposed. The purpose of the work is to confirm the beneficial effect of using a cylindrical bucket. For this purpose, models of a standard and cylindrical bucket were manufactured. Both models were installed in a stand to compare their scooping capacity. The dependences of the moments of forces when scooping different volumes of soil with the tested buckets are given.
