About the essence of digitalization of mining systems
- Abstract:
- The article presents the results of understanding the essence of digitalization of mining systems at the present stage of development of science and technology. The directions of digitalization of mining systems are shown, in which the most significant results have been achieved by scientific and production companies to date. The existing shortcomings in the formulation of research tasks in the field of digitalization of mining systems are identified. The purpose of the mining system functioning is established and a schematic diagram is given. The key conditions for achieving the goal are identified and the need for the use of digital technologies as a tool of the management system aimed at minimizing the deviations of the actual values of the parameters of mining operations from the design ones is justified.

Robotization of blasting operations. Background. Results. Possible prospects
- Abstract:
- The current level of development of science and technology already allows us to start developing robotic explosive technologies for the mining industry, however, we need ideas on how to do this? Based on the analysis of historical prerequisites, the results of scientific research and industrial tests, the idea and options for the implementation of robotic blasting technology in open-pit mining are proposed. The idea of creating a robotic technology of blasting is based on the use of liquid explosive solutions, which, having high power and good fluidity, may be technologically suitable for this. The exclusion of a large number of workers from the technological process will provide a significant reduction in cost and significantly increase its safety, since the presence of a limited number of operators operating equipment and controlling its operation is assumed only outside the danger zone. The introduction of robotization of the most dangerous mining processes will push specialists to develop and implement fundamentally new explosive technologies, which were impossible to allow in the presence of people in principle.

- Abstract:
- The article presents the main provisions on the formation of technogenic capacity in the process of mining operations and the placement of enrichment tailings in it. The method of coordination of the production capacities of the quarry and the processing plant during the formation and filling of the technogenic capacity with ore dressing tailings is presented. The scheme of complex development of a subsurface area during the formation and operation of a technogenic tank is proposed. Based on a well-founded methodology, a nomogram has been developed to coordinate the productivity of the quarry and the processing plant. The scheme for calculating the area of the base of the mining system during the formation of a man-made container for the placement of tailings of enrichment and products of their processing is substantiated. The dependences of the change in the area of the base of the technogenic capacity on the volume of the tailings placed are established.

- Abstract:
- The most rational measure would be to transfer the production of mine sectional pumps to other hydraulic schemes, in which the axial force would be compensated in the simplest and most effective way - by symmetrical arrangement of impellers on the shaft and the use of double-suction impellers, which would ensure reliability, maintainability and durability. All these design solutions will increase the duration of the operation of pumping units. Currently, there are no specific recommendations for choosing the channel width, which necessitates special theoretical and experimental ones.

- Abstract:
- The article analyzes the influence of blasting schemes with extended deceleration intervals on quantitative indicators of weakening of the array in the pre-destruction zone. It has been established that the rate of crack growth significantly affects the quality of rock crushing and the parameters of rock mass collapse – the quality of crushing increases with the growth of deceleration intervals in blasting schemes from 25 to 200 ms. It is determined that with schemes with a deceleration interval between successive explosions of borehole charges of 200 ms, high-quality crushing in the absence of collapse outside the block on ledges with a height of 5 m is achieved for wells with a diameter of 215 mm even when they are located on a grid of 6.5×6.5 m. The results of the research have been introduced into the practice of quarrying and can be useful in preparing for the selective extraction of various minerals.
