Improvement of regulatory support for the use of hydraulic lifts on the under-roof monorail transport

- Abstract:
- In this article, the authors consider some regulatory legal acts concerning monorail transport and the calculation of anchor support for underground monorail cargo trucks (lifting technical devices with hydraulic control from a diesel-hydraulic locomotive) with attachments used in mines. Evaluation of the effect of a regulatory legal act is an important stage, the essence of which is to obtain and analyze information concerning the impact of a regulatory legal act on social, industrial relations, which, in turn, allows improving the current legislation, as well as taking into account the role of legal practice in the development of new regulatory legal acts. A huge role is played by the prevention, detection and elimination of defects in regulatory legal acts. Identification of defects in regulatory legal acts is carried out after the entry into force of a regulatory legal act by evaluating the results of its action. Elimination of defects in a regulatory legal act is carried out within the framework of additional law-making, aimed at eliminating the identified defect of a regulatory legal act, is a unified system of actions and procedures that allow to establish the presence of a defect, the cause of its occurrence, and, taking into account the information received, make appropriate changes to the legislation. In regulatory legal acts, the term «hydraulic lift» is not used, lifting devices with hydraulic control from a diesel-hydraulic locomotive operating (moving) along a monorail beam in a mine. There is a need and the possibility of finalizing regulatory legal acts concerning the solution of tasks related to the organization of the technological scheme of hydraulic lifts with cargo, that is, slinging, lifting cargo and moving cargo by hydraulic lifts in the mine, in underground mining conditions. Understanding that the laws of slinging, mechanics and physics concerning the process of lifting and moving loads both on the surface, for all kinds of lifting devices, structures, and in underground conditions, work the same way, and in the legal field is not specifically defined.

Prospective assessment of resources of alternative types of aluminosilicate refractory raw materials of the Far Eastern region of Russia

- The presence of a refractory industry characterizes the degree of industrialization. countries. Of the more than two hundred countries in the world, there is a developed refractory industry in about 35 countries. In Russia, the extraction and production of natural refractory raw materials is carried out in small quantities, amounting to units of percent of the total required quantity. The main raw material for its production is scarce and expensive alumina imported from China and other countries, 2/3 of which fall on aluminosilicate refractories. According to the results of regional and thematic works on the territory of the Far Eastern Region of Russia, the scales of development of high-alumina formations of various genetic types have been determined: sedimentary-metamorphic (sillimanite, distene, andalusian), hydrothermal-metasomatic (alunite, alunite-dickite, alunite-diasporic), sedimentary (kaolinite), magmatic (anorthosite, labrador-anorthosite, nepheline and leucite), according to physico-chemical and technological properties (alumina content of 20-40% or more, fire resistance over 1580°C), the results of industrial research satisfying the requirements for refractory raw materials of alternative types. The presented rather extensive factual material on natural types of fire-resistant raw materials in the Far East testifies to the great potential for the formation of a raw material base for the production of refractories, the prospects of which are quite definite for the economy.

- A methodological approach has been developed to determine the conditions that ensure the stable and safe operation of a hydraulic elevator dredger during the development of enrichment tailings. The conditions of stable and safe operation of a hydraulic elevator dredger during the development of enrichment tailings are determined. An algorithm has been developed for calculating the hydraulic transport system, performance and the main parameters of this technology, depending on the mining conditions of the complex. The productivity and the area of use of the UGB-2M hydraulic elevator dredger in the development of enrichment tailings for each of the technically possible diameters of the pulp duct under various mining conditions of its operation - the distances of transportation of the hydraulic mixture and the geodetic height of its lifting.

- The evaluation of existing methods for predicting the development of land surface deformations and dip formation was carried out. A neural network for predicting the formation of failures on the earth's surface over old mine workings with an accuracy of up to 94.6% is pre-sented. For the conditions of the mine named after V. M. Bazhanov are constructed nomograms, allowing to establish the time of occurrence of the failure on the day surface. The results of the research will be use in conducting geodynamic monitoring of undermined areas of Donbass and in assessing the cost of land plots.

World trends in the development of technologies of hydrometallurgical processing of nickel ores at operating enterprises

- The paper provides a critical analysis of sources, a generalization of factual and theoretical material on the main hydrometallurgical technologies for processing nickel ores. It has been established that the use of autoclave leaching of ores is the most common method of processing. This process takes place mainly in capacitive reactors with a stirrer. It was found that, depending on the type of ore, there are two main ways to carry out autoclave leaching: acid leaching under high pressure and the Caron process (ammonia leaching during roasting). The review shows that sulfuric acid leaching is predominantly used in Cuba and Western Australia, as well as in Finland, South Africa and Canada. Nitric acid leaching is being used in pilot plants in Australia at the CSIRO facility. Chlorine leaching is used in Japan, Norway, France and Canada. Ammonia processes have been implemented in Cuba, the Czech Republic and Australia, as well as in Brazil, Canada and the Philippines, India and Gag Island in Indonesia. The article presents the latest achievements in the field of extraction of nickel and cobalt from productive solutions, as well as the advantages and disadvantages of existing schemes at operating enterprises in the world. Having analyzed the main technologies for processing nickel ore, we can say that traditionally Ni and Co are extracted from productive solutions after leaching in one of three ways: 1. Precipitation of mixed nickel and cobalt sulfide; 2. Precipitation of mixed nickel and cobalt hydroxide; 3. Direct solvent extraction. The analysis showed that the most optimal and least time-consuming process, providing a relatively high degree of extraction of target metals, is extraction. Impurity removal is most expediently carried out by precipitation, however, the loss of nickel and cobalt should be taken into account.

Promising sorbents for the extraction of nickel and cobalt in the hydrometallurgical processing of nickel ores

- The paper provides a critical analysis of the sources, a generalization of the factual and theoretical material on the properties, the use of natural and synthetic sorbents for the extraction of nickel and cobalt from productive solutions after the leaching of nickel ores. Comparison of promising sorbents in terms of efficiency of their use with sorbents used in industry has been carried out. Sorption processes using natural substances or synthetic resins contribute to the selective extraction of nickel and cobalt from aqueous solutions. Zeolites modified with various functional groups are very promising materials for selective recovery. The ability to selectively extract metal cations and the possibility of regeneration makes ion-exchange polymer resins one of the leading sorbents in the modern world. The polymer resin sorption process avoids wastage of reagents, costly filtration, and poor selectivity for nickel and cobalt over other metal ions associated with solvent extraction processes. A comparison of the values of the sorption capacities of natural sorbents shows the promise of using silicate minerals – montmorillonite and palygorskite in industry, as well as the development of technological processes using them. Analysis of the recovery rates of synthetic polymer resins proves the frequent use of Amberlite, Dowex and Ionac in the industry. However, Dowex M4195 has the highest nickel selectivity due to the presence of a bis-picolylamine functional group, unlike other resins with an iminodiacetate group. In addition, the disadvantage of foreign-made chelate resins is their high cost, which cannot be said about the cation exchanger grade KU 2-8 of a Russian manufacturer.
