- Abstract:
- In mineral processing, the main task of grinding processes is to release valuable minerals to simplify subsequent separation steps such as flotation. Traditionally, the design and optimization of grinding schemes were based on achieving a predetermined particle size distribution with optimal performance, considering energy efficiency and equipment wear. However, modern research in the field of flotation and mineralogy raises the question of whether it is possible to increase the requirements for grinding processes in terms of particle preparation.
