- The Institute of Comprehensive Subsoil Resources Exploration Problems, Russian Academy of Science, Moscow
- Abstract:
- The handbook contains a set of tables and diagrams characterizing the position of Russia in the global deposits and marketable mineral products made by main producers; main indicators of the available reserves of iron ore, its quality, availability, volumes of production and marketable mineral products, their commercial value, export and import during a specified period of time; trends in change in these indicators by districts, regions and iron-ore deposits under development within last 12-13 years; it also provides brief comments on their assessment. The handbook provides the main data on the mining and other companies that have licenses for development of specific iron-ore deposits.

- Abstract:
- The natural and climatic conditions of the area of the airport «Nyurba» in Yakutia are described, the unfortunate combination of which in the runway area led to the development of negative cryogenic phenomena. For maximum cooling of the embankment and the underlying soils, it is recommended that in the next construction season, preliminary, before arranging the foundation of the embankment and soil interface, removal of the snow cover throughout the winter. It is also recommended to create a control (monitoring) system for the state of soils and the development of cryogenic processes to ensure the stability of the runway and airfield facilities. At the moment, one of the preventive measures for a possible reduction in the rate of degradation of frozen strata on the territory of the runway is the removal of snow cover in winter from the surface of the runway and the embankment.

Quantitative and qualitative analysis of mineral extraction in the Far Eastern region of Russia in comparative aspects by subjects of the Federation
- Abstract:
- In the economic aspect, the mineral resource base of minerals extends to that part of their resources that has been explored, estimated by balance reserves, in fact, in the future it can be economically developed and turned into commodity products of mineral raw materials necessary for the development of the most important sectors of the economy. The purpose of the work: to analyze the state of the mineral resource base (MSB) for the explored mineral deposits in all 11 subjects of the Federation of the Far Eastern Federal District (Far Eastern Federal District), which in.

Numerical model of spherical excavator bucket integration into soil
- Abstract:
- Increase in the volume of mineral resources development is directly connected with the increase in capacity of special equipment, such as hydraulic single-bucket excavator. The Paper describes the structure of a «spherical» bucket of an excavator, which allows increasing its efficiency due to a larger volume of excavated soil with the same force of the bucket swivel hydraulic cylinder. The purpose of the Paper is achieved, as the dependencies and algorithm for selection of the minimum force of the hydraulic cylinder for soil excavation with a «spherical» bucket are determined. In order to achieve the objective of the Paper, a numerical model of soil excavation process with use of a «spherical» bucket has been reviewed.
