- Abstract:
- The article presents the results of theoretical studies that describe the process of crack growth during the grinding of rocks in mills of various types. It is noted that grinding, as part of the ore preparation technology, is also due to the destruction of rocks with the formation of a new surface, and the growth of cracks increases significantly from the impact of grinding bodies on rocks. It has been proven that the mathematical description of crack's wall moving has the important meaning in determination of raw material's particles crash to the given size.

Increasing the performance of mining cluster enterprises under high man-caused load on the environment
DOI: 10.56195/20793332_2022_4_10
- Аннотация:
- The article presents the results of research that allow us to conclude that the main modern form of organization of interaction of enterprises at the regional and sectoral level is a cluster. It is established that the peculiarity of cluster formation in conditions of increased anthropogenic load on the environment is due to the requirements of geoecological safety. It is revealed that the developed directions of ensuring geoecological safety at the regional and local levels, tested on real data, provide enterprises of the mining cluster with a reduction in the negative impact on the environment while maintaining financial performance. The results of the research can be useful for regional environmental protection structures and enterprises that use natural resources, which have a significant negative impact on the environment.

- Abstract:
- The article provides examples of developed technical solutions to reduce mining and geological risks during the development of complex-structured deposits of coal and granular quartz. It is established that as a result of the implementation of the recommended measures, the mining and geological risks of the development of the Odegeldey site of the Ak-Talsky coal deposit can be reduced to an acceptable «low» level, with a probability of occurrence of up to 10-15%, which will allow the implementation of a socially significant facility to supply the population of the Republic of Tyva with high-quality fuel. Technical solutions are shown to involve small quartz veins of granular quartz of high purity in the development, ensuring high productivity and efficiency of mining operations without significant losses of scarce raw materials. The results of the research can be useful in assessing the risks arising during the operation of the field and the technical and production risks of the GOK.

- Abstract:
- The article presents a mathematical model and a comparative analysis of the designs of grinding devices, which showed that the most suitable for analytical samples are rotary-type grinders, which are ahead in their class in terms of performance and reliability with minimal overall dimensions and weight. However, they are practically unknown to the consumer and their release is limited. Currently produced rotary shredders have insufficient efficiency, which is characterized by the degree of grinding. The main reason for this situation is the insufficient knowledge of the processes occurring in the labyrinth rotor of the counter impact during material grinding, and, as a result, the insufficient scientific validity of design methods. The geometrical parameters and the speed of rotation of the working body until now are assigned empirically according to the principle of similarity, which inevitably leads to deviations in fineness and grinding performance from the specified values. Improving the design, which makes it possible to increase the efficiency of the devices, is impossible without analyzing the kinematics of the piece in the chopper channel. It has been established that from the point of view of the efficiency of the destruction of the material, the shape of the channel needs to be changed in its geometry. Based on the energy balance equation for a free impact of a piece on an absolutely rigid surface, it is established that a certain fraction of the kinetic energy of the piece is converted into the potential energy of the elastic deformation of the fragments, which, in turn, is converted into the kinetic energy of their rebound from the surface. This makes it possible to increase the degree of grinding of the material, and on the other hand, it is possible to increase the efficiency of a free impact by reducing the angle of entry of the particle into the channel. This condition will require a change in its geometric parameters and the speed of rotation of the working body. Based on the analysis of the proposed theory of particle motion, the main ways of further improvement of the methodology for designing and creating a new type of rotary grinder are formulated.

- Abstract:
- Since the end of the last century, a significant number of hydraulic excavators have arrived on Russian open pit mines. Most of these excavators are equipped with backhoe operating equipment. The widespread use of such excavators in open-pit mining proves their exceptional efficiency. However, at the same time there is no clear understanding of the conditions under which a hydraulic excavator will be most effective: a theory of the face block of hydraulic shovels has not yet been developed. The available scientific studies are limited to determining the rational height of the excavation layer for efficient operation. If to take the quality of preparation of rock mass and the scheme of its loading into dump trucks as external parameters, i.e. not depending on the features of excavator design, then the position of its working equipment relative to the rock block has a decisive influence on operation of the hydraulic drive and fuel consumption. This is due to the changing value of digging force at various points of the bucket teeth position in the range of their possible positions at constant power of the hydraulic drive. Thus, application of optimal position of hydraulic excavator working equipment elements (bucket, stick, and boom) relative to the rotary platform and the rock massive during the digging cycle allows both to reduce fuel consumption and to increase the digging force. The application of the developed methodology is promising in terms of improving the energy efficiency of both individual excavation and loading units and the enterprise as a whole.

- Abstract:
- The article presents the results of a study of the bearing capacity of rocks during the conduct and operation of mine workings during underground mining. It is established that the magnitude of natural and man-made stresses and deformations at the site of sinking of treatment and preparatory workings can be predicted. It is determined that the safety and efficiency of mining is ensured by preventing critical stresses in the elements of the geomechanical system. The results of the research can be useful in the extraction of minerals and the construction of underground facilities in rocks.

Computer simulation of displacement of contours of ore bodies after explosion
DOI: 10.56195/20793332_2022_4_51
- Abstract:
- The article presents the results of research on the use of a new technology for determining the movement of ore bodies after blasting. It is established that the simulation results correspond to the actual data by more than 90%. It is determined that this technique allows us to assess the state of the massif after the blast, in particular, the displacement of ore bodies, their mixing with empty rocks and, as a consequence, to make a varietal plan. It is revealed that in order to build the most accurate model, it is necessary to carry out additional measurements in order to obtain unknown constants. The results of the research can be useful in drawing up a varietal mining plan.
