DOI: 10.56195/20793332_2024_1_4_9
- Abstract::
- The article deals with the issues of granting forest plots within the forest fund for rent for subsoil use. The acquisition of rights to a land plot is an integral part of the exploration and production of minerals. Relations in the field of subsoil use related to land plots are sufficiently regulated by natural resource legislation, however, they require detailed consideration in relation to registration of rights to forest plots from forest fund lands. The main problems that arise when using forest fund lands for the purposes of geological study, exploration and mining are identified. The current legislation for the purposes of subsoil use on the territory of the Khabarovsk Territory is analyzed. Taking into account the analysis of the provision of forest plots within the forest fund for rent in the Khabarovsk Territory for the purposes of subsoil use, possible ways to solve the identified problems are proposed by integrating data from the state forest registry into the unified state register of real estate (EGRN).

- Abstract:
- Against the background of huge mineral reserves concentrated in the Arctic zone, it is important not to overlook the deposits hidden beneath the water surface, because the true resource potential of the Far North extends to the Arctic shelf. In this regard, the task of studying the complex relationship between the properties of seawater and the extraction of solid minerals from the bottom of the Arctic shelf becomes relevant. This paper considers the regularities of changes in water temperature and salinity in the northern seas of Russia and presents the results of complex analysis of these parameters at different depths. The study emphasizes the practical significance of the results obtained for the development of technologies for the extraction of solid minerals underwater. The results of the study can be used by the scientific community as an information source.

- Abstract:
- The article presents the results of research on the optimization of the parameters of the technology for the development of semi-horizontal overburden by excavator-automobile complexes using mechlopats. The available methods for calculating the productivity of mechlopats are analyzed. An empirical universal dependence of the calculation of the value of the excavation coefficient on the average diameter of the piece has been established for all types of modern mechanical shovels, which makes it possible to determine the change in the value of the replaceable operational performance of mechanical shovels from the value of the average size of pieces of blasted rocks. The results of statistical processing of comparing the values of the excavator performance installed in production conditions with the calculated ones showed that the coefficient of variation when calculated according to the proposed (new, universal) formula is almost two times lower than the known (used) ones. An enlarged block diagram of a complex algorithm for optimizing the parameters of the EACMS is determined by selecting the value of the specific consumption of explosives, the type of a mechanical shovel, dump truck, drilling rig and bulldozer

- Abstract:
- Integrated within the territorial boundaries of the Irkutsk region, the Yaraktinskoye hydrocarbon field is one of the key assets in the field of crude oil production and has been subject to active extraction procedures since the 1970s. This field is characterized by limited permeability parameters and heterogeneous properties of oil-bearing formations, which makes effective extraction of hydrocarbons highly difficult. Traditionally, to optimize the oil recovery factor at similar facilities, the permeability profile leveling methodology is used. It has been established that the effectiveness of this approach is significantly limited by geological and structural characteristics. Consequently, there is an urgent need to develop more effective mechanisms to increase the operational efficiency of the Yaraktinskoye field. At the moment, the field is facing many problems from an operational point of view, including a decrease in the oil recovery factor due to limited permeability of the formations and high water cut. The permeability profile of injection wells is also not homogeneous enough, which further exaggerates the problem of oil recovery. These factors collectively led to inflation of operating costs and degradation of the economic efficiency of the operating process. As part of solving the existing problems facing the Yaraktinskoye field, research was carried out on the efficiency of development using enhanced oil recovery technologies based on xanthan compositions in order to optimize the permeability profile of injection wells. Research is aimed at expanding the application capabilities of biopolymers in a wider range of geological and structural conditions. The research results indicate a significant optimization of the method for correcting the permeability profile, which in turn helps to increase oil recovery by 12-15% and reduce operating costs by 20-25%. The research results may be useful for further exploitation of the field under conditions of increased water cut

- Abstract:
- The article presents the results of research on the effectiveness of the use of guard structures made of lightweight woodenconcrete blocks. The use of various types of guard structures in the mines of the Russian Donbass did not provide a satisfactory condition of the protected workings. In this regard, a wooden-concrete block (BDB) was developed by Shakhtniui. Initially, BDB with a 2.0 mm thick steel clips were trial sand accepted for serial production. The increase in metal prices led to the appearance of a proposal to reduce the thickness of BDB steel clips from 2.0 to 1.5 mm. Bench tests of bollards made of BDB with a thickness of 1.5 mm clips were carried out in April 2023. Bollards made of BDB with 2.0 mm thick clips were trials earlier in December 2015. Reducing the thickness of the steel clips from 2.0 to 1.5 mm led to an increase in the malleability of the BDB. At the mine place of testing, the achievement of relative compliance of the bollards made of BDB with a 1.5 mm clip thickness, at which the clips will begin to rupture, may occur in 1.46 years with a re-sidual service life of 6.3 years. Saving money on the manufacture of BDB can increase the cost of guard by re-anchoring the workings. Cost savings on the manufacture of BDB can increase the cost of maintaining workings due to the need to re-anchor it

- Abstract:
- The article provides an assessment of ensuring safe operation, water supply, as well as the safety of personnel and the environment during the operation of the Zaporizhia NPP. It has been established that the exploitation of groundwater for the technical water supply of the NPP and its infrastructure facilities, both under constant and periodic drainage regimes, will lead to the formation of depression funnels, the size of which will depend on the magnitude (flow rate) of the water intake, the layout of water intake facilities and specific hydrogeological conditions of the groundwater deposit. It is shown that it is necessary to ensure not only the strength of the soils under the structures of buildings and structures of nuclear power plants, but also the reliable functioning of all systems that control the nuclear process. The necessity of monitoring the stability of geological and geophysical conditions in the area and at the sites of nuclear power plants in the monitoring mode has been determined. The monitoring is comprehensive. It includes geotechnical, surveying and geodetic, hydrogeological, and seismological observations. The forecast of the development of a depression funnel in time and space should be carried out by analytical methods or modeling, taking into account changes in the conditions of the relationship of aquifers with each other and environmental components. It has been revealed that extending the further operation of the NPP is an expensive and unsafe process. It is not possible to upgrade old power units to modern ones in terms of safety in nuclear energy. The power units of the Zaporizhia NPP are not ready for further operation, therefore, it is necessary to start developing a project for decommissioning power units No. 1-4 of the NPP.The research results can be useful in predicting the possible development of karst-suffusion processes under the influence of intensive groundwater drainage, organizing monitoring of the possible development of these processes, including them in the integrated monitoring of this facility. It will make it possible to justify the scale and regime of rational water extraction, taking into account the requirements for environmental protection and the specifics of further operation of the NPP

- Abstract:
- The paper analyses the strength parameters of rocks tested under uniaxial and volumetric stress states. Based on their results, the Mohr stress limit circles and their envelope line were plotted in the field of tangential and normal stresses. According to its slope and intersection with the tangent stress axis, the cohesion (C) and the angle of internal friction (φ) were determined. Calculated, using the values (C and φ), strength in uniaxial compression was higher than the actual strength by 20 and more percent. It is suggested to change the methodology of determination of adhesion and angle of internal friction. It is proposed to determine them not by the envelope of the limiting circles of Mohr stresses line, but by the change of limiting values of tangential stresses of Mohr's circles from normal stresses

- Abstract:
- The article examines the results of research into changes in physical and mechanical properties of frozen rocks from external factors and loading parameters. The environmental parameters that have the greatest influence on the mechanical behaviour of frozen rocks have been determined. The strength and deformation properties of frozen rocks at different temperature, loading conditions, moisture and ice content are presented. The constitutive models used to describe the deformation process of frozen rocks taking into account the impact of the natural environment are analysed. Dependences between stress and deformation, features and limitations of the considered constitutive models of frozen rocks are described. The prospective use of the developed constitutive models is assessed and the directions of their development for calculation and design of engineering structures in the Arctic zone are proposed

- Abstract:
- The article presents the results of analyzing existing methodologies for classifying mine surveying and geodetic data, particularly laser scanning data. Various software solutions are currently employed for modeling underground development, quarries, and oil extraction facilities. While there are algorithms designed to address specific tasks related to modeling stages, the majority of them are created as versatile tools. An evaluation of existing software algorithms for classification tasks has been conducted. In the mining industry, adapting these algorithms would significantly expedite and simplify the processes of updating mine surveying and geodetic information, indirectly impacting the overall speed and quality of deposit development. The research findings can be valuable for working with laser scanning data and selecting optimal solutions

Analysis of modern engineering applications of convolutional neural networks in mining industry
DOI: 10.56195/20793332_2024_1_90_94
- Abstract:
- Currently there are a lot of image recognition tasks, that are being successfully solved by the use of different types of neural networks. In its turn, the leading type of neural networks architecture for mentioned tasks class is convolutional neural network (CNN). Convolutional neural networks consist of multiple layers with small sets of neurons. Each of the neurons represents a small part of the original image. Combining all sets of neurons in a layer gives us a complete representation of the image. Other layers repeat this algorithm, but work with the same image presented in a different way, allowing the system as a whole to «learn» what the picture ultimately consists of. For example, each of the convolution layers can be responsible for highlighting certain features in the image (contour lines, flat areas, sharp edges).
