- Abstract:
- This article presents the results of a study of the parameters of a hydromechanized technology for the development and movement of tailings from sludge storage ponds at Kuzbass coal preparation plants using hydroelevator dredgers. The study addresses a number of issues: a methodological approach has been developed to substantiate the parameters of the UGB-2M hydroelevator dredger cleaning sludge storage ponds. This approach takes into account the influence of mining conditions on its performance, including the distance the slurry is transported and the geodetic height of its lifting for various slurry pipeline diameters; a new technology for cleaning sludge storage ponds at coal preparation plants using a hydroelevator dredger has been developed. Its operating conditions and parameters have been determined based on the physical and mechanical properties of the coal preparation tailings; a flowchart of an algorithm for calculating the parameters of the hydrotransport system and optimizing its parameters, taking into account mining operating conditions. Also defined the parameters of a new technology for cleaning sludge storage facilities of coal preparation plants using a hydraulic elevator dredger for the mining and technical conditions of the sludge storage facility of the Chernigovskaya processing plant were determined, its main technical and economic indicators were determined and recommendations were given for improving the operation of the water-sludge complex of the hydraulic structures of the Chernigovskaya processing plant.

- Abstract:
- The methodology and results of experimental studies performed to substantiate the effectiveness of using thermoradiological (IR-radiometric) measurements to diagnose changes in the stress state of arrays over time are described. The tests of geomaterial samples under various loading conditions under uniaxial compression conditions are described, which were performed with synchronous registration of changes in the parameters of thermal radiation signals and strain gauge data. The design of a "large-scale" stand for alternating loading of a relatively large (≈0.35 m3) volume of soil is described. Changes in the stress state over time in the bottomhole zone of the "well", arranged in a model of a soil massif, are recorded using synchronous recordings of IR radiometer signals and strain gauge elements installed inside the loaded volume. The reliability of estimating stress changes in the "array" of soil over time according to IR radiometry data is demonstrated. From a physical point of view, the obtained results show that the recorded thermodynamic processes accompanying the deformation of the soil "massif" can be considered adiabatic with sufficient accuracy, i.e. in conditions simulating real field measurements, the basic physical prerequisite for the effectiveness of thermoradiological diagnostics is fulfilled. The experimental results indicate the possibility of using complex geophysical measurements in monitoring systems for real geomechanical events.

- Abstract:
- In special geological zones formed by coal seam spontaneous combustion, burnt rock exhibits a loose structure, welldeveloped joints and fissures, and significantly reduced strength, resulting in considerable challenges for roadway stability control. This paper investigates the deformation and failure characteristics and stability control mechanisms of roadway surrounding rock affected by thermal alteration, using the 3202 return airway of Dawan Coal Mine as a case study. Based on the Hoek-Brown strength criterion and elastic-plastic mechanics theory, a stability analysis model for burnt rock roadway surrounding rock was established. The extent of the loosening zone was verified through UDEC numerical simulation and borehole observations, revealing a loosening zone depth ranging from approximately 3.1 m to 4.2 m. To address these challenges, this paper proposes a comprehensive control technology based on multi-stage coordinated support, termed the Reinforcement-Anchorage-Constraint (RAC) system. This system integrates grouting reinforcement (Reinforcement), bolt and cable support (Anchorage), and metal shed support (Constraint) to ensure roadway stability. Field monitoring results demonstrate that the roof-to-floor convergence is 71 mm and the ribs convergence is 27 mm, indicating overall roadway stability. The research findings provide both theoretical foundation and practical engineering guidance for stability control of roadways in burnt rock zones.

- Abstract:
- An analysis of studies of ultrasonic impact for intensification of mineral raw material enrichment processes, for activation, regeneration and recycling of spent catalysts was conducted. The study showed that ultrasonic treatment, thanks to the cavitation, radiation pressure, and acoustic flows it creates, can significantly accelerate enrichment processes by removing surface deposits, oxide films, and dispersing particles. An experimental study was conducted on the process of bacterial-chemical leaching of sulfide cobalt-copper-nickel ores using preliminary ultrasonic treatment of ore pulp and without it to increase the kinetics of the process and increase the extraction of target metals. The study shows that the use of ultrasonic radiation (22 kHz ± 1.65, 23 W/cm2, 1800 s) helps to increase the process speed – for nickel by 1.83 times, for copper by 2.83 times, for cobalt by 3.86 times, and helps to increase the extraction – for Ni by 2.18 times, for Cu by 4.02 times, for Co by 2.96 times. Experiments have shown that bacterial-chemical leaching of sulfide cobalt-copper-nickel ore with a solid:liquid ratio of ore pulp of 1:3 and a solid: liquid ratio of bacterial suspension pulp of 1:5 is suitable for obtaining rich polymetallic solutions of nickel, copper and cobalt. In order to intensify the extraction of target metals, it is necessary to continue research into the process of bacterial-chemical leaching at different densities of ore pulp, bacterial suspension pulp, different durations of ultrasonic exposure, radiation frequencies, and its different intensities.

- Abstract:
- The shortage of domestic industries in metals can be minimized or overcome by developing new promising technologies for their extraction from lost and considered inaccessible to traditional technology reserves of mineral raw materials. The purpose of the article is to detail the conditions for the effective use of variations of the technology with metal leaching from ores based on experimentally obtained laboratory and industrial studies of metal extraction parameters within the framework of a single production complex. The research methods include an overview of the materials of the performed studies, critical analysis using mathematical and statistical processing of research results, modeling of possible options for underground, borehole, heap leaching, leaching in activator mills, etc., as well as engineering forecasting. Optimal conditions for the use of leaching development technologies have been determined, providing a reliable mode of solution movement to create optimal conditions for the oxidation of ore minerals. The results of the analysis of the elements of the leaching mechanism are given, including the determination of the heterogeneity of the leached arrays by the propagation velocity of stress waves. The results of modeling individual elements of the leaching process in the model and the ore massif with an analysis of the amplitude of the signals are presented. The results of a study of the absorption of elastic vibrations by the method of downhole acoustic sounding are presented. The recommended provisions and conclusions of the article may be in demand in the processes of modernization of production at existing enterprises and optimization of projects for the development of new deposits.

- Abstract:
- This paper analyzes the current state of the problem related to the demand and effectiveness of using technology for partial replacement of diesel fuel with liquefied natural gas (LNG) in quarry equipment. It is emphasized that the transition to gas-diesel mode does not require extensive and labor-intensive modernization of diesel engines, which makes this technology economically viable and technologically accessible for mining companies. It is noted that it is in the class of heavy quarry dump trucks that LNG is considered the most promising energy source capable of competing with traditional petroleum motor fuels. The use of LNG as a motor fuel contributes to reducing the negative impact of quarry vehicles on the environment, increasing the energy efficiency of rock transportation, and reducing operating costs associated with specific fuel consumption. In this regard, the relevance of research aimed at selecting optimal design and layout solutions for the placement and integration of cryogenic equipment on quarry dump trucks is emphasized. The paper provides a detailed review of a new technological scheme for installing a cryogenic fuel tank on a BelAZ-75306 dump truck (load capacity 220 tons). Options for upgrading the structural elements of the machine are presented, ensuring the safe and effective placement of cryogenic equipment on board.

- Abstract:
- A new direction in the modernization of ore deposit development technologies is associated with the use of disintegrator activators, which is a tool for protecting the environment from the effects of mining waste and increasing the base of the construction industry due to recyclable ore processing tailings. The relevance of the new direction of innovative technologies is associated with the use of highspeed disintegrator activators, the fundamental difference of which is that the mechanical activation of enrichment tailings is combined with the chemical extraction of metals from them. The possibility of controlling the processes of ore crushing, combined metal extraction and acceleration of leaching processes is substantiated. A new universal mathematical model of metal extraction processes during ore leaching and tailings processing in various modes of activator operation has been created. New aspects of the use of IT-technologies in the extraction of metals with mechanochemical activation in the mining industry are shown. It is proved that the completeness of metal extraction during the development of poor ores and man-made reserves can be increased by using mechanochemical technologies with a combination of physical and chemical processes for processing raw materials within the framework of mining. The results of experimental studies are presented to substantiate the advantages and economic efficiency of mechanochemical leaching.

- Abstract:
- The article examines the impact of oil price volatility on geological exploration strategies and the development of hardtorecover oil reserves in Russia (2005–2025). During low-price periods (2014–2016, 2020, 2022–2025), exploration drilling volumes declined by 38 %, with activity shifting to Eastern Siberia and the Arctic (including the Vostok Oil project). The share of horizontal drilling rose from 11 % to 95 %. State support measures-such as the Additional Income Tax (AIT) and Mineral Extraction Tax (MET) benefits-along with flexible management models (“unfinished wells”) sustained investment levels despite an average Urals crude price of $62/barrel by 2025. Digital geological models reduced drilling risks by 20–30 %. Price volatility exacerbates technological lag in hydraulic fracturing and chronic underfunding of exploration (95 % of current production stems from Soviet-era fields), creating a threat of reserve deficits after 2035. The findings can inform resource security strategies, tax policy adjustments, and technology import substitution initiatives for oil companies and policymakers.

- Abstract:
- Based on an analytical review of existing studies on the influence of the properties of a mountain range on the duration of the process of shifting the Earth’s surface during its mining operations, as well as an analysis of the results of field observations at a surveying observation station, the factors determining the timing of subsidence caused by underground coal mining are presented in the article. The analysis of methods for calculating the duration of the displacement process and the parameters of the zones of influence during the movement of the cleaning face is carried out. The relationship between the deviation of the actual and estimated time of displacement of the earth’s surface with the frequency of additional work is established and the influence of changes in the elastic characteristics of the array during additional work on the duration of the displacement process is substantiated. The above studies make it possible to clarify the methods for determining the duration of the displacement process, which is an extremely important scientific and technical task in the light of the planned restoration of industry and infrastructure in Donbass.

- Abstract:
- This paper presents the results of a study on enhancing the information value of deformation monitoring at the developing mine surveying and geodetic network of the Yakovlevskoye deposit. It was found that the instability of the observation network, including the partial loss and subsequent restoration of benchmarks, leads to the loss of crucial information on the dynamics and maximum values of subsidence. An approach to solve this problem is presented, based on the synthesis of available disparate observation data from both the surface and the rock mass. It is shown that the spatio-temporal modeling method allows for the effective reconstruction of missing data, the subsidence field, and the development pattern of the subsidence trough over time. An assessment of the geomechanical situation at the deposit was performed based on the synthesized data. The research findings can be useful for the objective geomechanical assessment of the rock mass state and for ensuring the safe exploitation of the deposit under complex mining and geological conditions.
