- Abstract:
- The Far Eastern Federal District has a significant raw material base of gold and a developed gold mining industry. The development of the raw material base of gold is being carried out very actively. In the period 2001-2021, gold production in the Far Eastern Federal District increased from 70 to 193 tons. Among the 10 largest gold mining entities of the country, which produce about 90% of gold in Russia, there are 6 subjects of the Far Eastern Federal District. Processing of hard-to-beneficiate concentrates is carried out mainly in the Far Eastern Federal District by the enterprises of the Atlas Mining and Polymetal groups, refining is carried out outside the Far Eastern Federal District, given the volume of gold concentrate produced in the Far Eastern Federal District, it would be advisable to build a refinery within the Far Eastern Federal District (for example, in the city of Amursk).

Parameters of the technology for the development of semi-horizontal overburden rocks by excavator-automobile complexes in the conditions of coal mines of central Kuzbass
DOI: 10.56195/20793332_2024_3_16_22
- Abstract:
- The article presents the results of studies of the parameters of the technology of rock mining by excavator-automobile complexes using mechanical shovels in the conditions of coal quarries of central Kuzbass. The dependence of the change in unit costs for the main processes during the development of of overburden rocks of category III and IV with mechanical shovels with an excavator bucket capacity from 6.3 to 55.8 m3 on the weighted average size of pieces of blasted rock is determined. The presented method makes it possible to optimize the parameters of excavator-automobile complexes using mechanical shovels, by establishing a rational value of the weighted average size of a piece of blasted rock, which corresponds to the minimum value of total costs and determines the corresponding parameters of all processes of the rock development technology for all types of modern excavators when used in various mining conditions of quarries. The results of the research can be useful to the technical services of quarries and designers at the decision-making stage to determine the type and quantity of mining transport and auxiliary equipment for the conditions of a particular section of the section in accordance with the established requirements for ensuring the planned volume of work.

- Abstract:
- The article presents methodological provisions for the assessment of increased mineral losses during open-pit mining of deposits with difficult mining and geological conditions. As an example, the indicators of mineral losses during the development of the Kostanok site of the Chanvin deposit of limestones used for the production of caustic soda are given. The actual level of losses exce-eding 30% of the volume of extraction of raw materials has been established. The main reasons for the increased limestone losses compared to the level justified by the project are outlined. It was found that during the detailed exploration of the limestone massif, karst zones and areas with a high clay content, lying in the form of «veins» in areas of increased fracturing, were not identified. As a result, as a result of blasting, the exploding quarried, clogged areas with pure limestone are mixed, its contamination to values exceeding those allowed by the project, which leads to the loss of balance reserves of minerals during excavation. Recommendations are given for calculating the level of losses during the development of complex faces, which are characterized by the intermittency of rocks with productive limestone strata and karst zones.

- Abstract:
- The article presents the main classification systems of the rock massif, developed to solve the problems of the mining industry. The parameters of the rock massif that are most used in classifications are marked separately. Based on the analysis performed, a method for determining the rating of a rock mass according to the classification of Professor Dennis Laubscher (MRMR) was selected and described under the conditions of using a sublevel caving method during the development of reserves of the Plato Rasvumchorr deposit. It is shown that for the successful application of the sublevel caving method, a comprehensive account of all mining and geological factors is required and a correct calculation of a sufficient undercut area to ensure a smooth flow of the process of collapse of the overlying massif with the formation of a cavity for the release of rock mass, and an increase in the cutting sections will contribute to the development of the collapse process.

DOI: 10.56195/20793332_2024_3_42_54
- Abstract:
- Under the conditions of development of the reserves of the Verkhnekamskoye potassium-magnesium salt deposit, the study of the features and identification of the patterns of the development of the displacement process is based mainly on the data of instrumental observations along the profile lines of ground benchmarks. One of the most important components of the study of the process of displacement of the earth's surface from the influence of mining are the angular parameters, which in a generalized interpretation are complex indicators of the physical and mechanical properties of the entire shearing rock mass. In the issue of establishing and refining both the numerical values of the individual angular parameters of the displacement process, and the dependencies that determine them, criteria that allow determining the location of points characteristic of individual angles are of particular relevance. The issue of substantiating the values of the mentioned criteria is of high importance for the conditions of development of reserves at the deposit under consideration due to their insufficient knowledge and illumination. The article presents research results designated issue. The values of the criteria for the main angular parameters of the displacement process are justified and updated. The research results can be useful in justifying the values of the main angular parameters of the displacement process.

- Abstract:
- The existing hydrogeological, instrumental and analytical methods of determining the location of the upper boundary of the zone of technogenic water-conducting cracks do not allow to predict its change in time in complex mining and geological conditions and taking into account the high rates of solid minerals extraction. Their application involves high risks of technogenic accidents. The developed method of predicting the condition of the rock massif on the basis of regularities of distribution of deformations in the developed massif on the example of solid minerals deposit is considered in the paper. The regularities obtained from the results of processing of field measurements are adapted and make it possible to forecast the development of geomechanical parameters taking into account the approved plans of mining operations, which provides the safety of the mine.

- Abstract:
- The choice of anchorage and strengthen support parameters for again use workings in Russian mines is regulated by the «Instructions for the calculation and application of anchorage in coal mines». As for strengthens support, it does not always give adequate results. Studies conducted at one of the mines of the Russian Donbass have shown that up to a depth of 630 m, the specified instruction gives parameters generally corresponding to the operating conditions of the mine. And further, with an increase in the depth of mining operations, the resistance of the strengthens support, determined according to the instructions, turns out to be clearly insufficient. In this regard, at the specified mine, a strengthen pedestal made of wooden-concrete blocks (BDB), not provided for in the instructions, began to be used as a strengthen support. As mining operations deepened, the share of the pedestal support in the total resistance of the strengthen support increased. The pedestal reinforcement support made of BDB has a high resistance and allows you to effectively maintain workings in difficult operating conditions. In addition, it is much cheaper than metal support of the same resistance. Changes must be made to the instruction: the algorithm for determining the resistance of the support must take into account the depth of mining operations, to provide for the use of a pedestal support made of BDB as a reinforcement support.

- Abstract:
- The applicability of transition coefficients in the calculation of uniaxial compressive strength according to normative methods for salt rocks has been evaluated. The discrepancy between calculated and empirical values of strength for sylvinite and rock salt is revealed, in connection with which the necessity of obtaining a conversion factor for this type of rocks is determined. The results of research of strength properties of salt rock samples with different ratio of linear dimensions of height to diameter and cross-sectional shape are presented, on the basis of which empirical dependences of uniaxial compression strength on shape coefficient for silvinite samples are established on the example of the reserves of the Palashersky area of the Upper Kama potash-magnesium salt deposit. The results obtained allow us to judge the need to introduce transition coefficients when recalculating uniaxial compressive strength for samples of different cross sections, and to recruit of more significant statistical sample in this study.

- Abstract:
- Engineering and geological conditions of formation and operation of the technogenic massif of sandy-clay clay pelletised ores of gold heap leaching stack were investigated. Key factors determining the formation of stress-strain state of heap leaching stack were identified. The formation of the stress-strain state of the stack massif was evaluated. The main research methods included the use of numerical modelling of the stress-strain state of the stack massif with the application of continuum mechanics methods. It was established that the optimal approach to the assessment of the stress-strain state is a complex analysis based on an algorithm approximated to the conditions of formation and operation of the heap leach stack array. The modelling takes into account the stages of stack construction, compaction from the impact of mining transport equipment, as well as the weight of overlying rocks, taking into account different degrees of water saturation during operation. Filtration modelling made it possible to determine the zone of full saturation at given irrigation parameters. The formation of the stress-strain state of the heap leaching gold stack massif and its stability were analysed by longitudinal and cross-sectional modelling.

- Abstract:
- The results of a study of the functioning of the drainage complex of the Mikhailovsky iron ore deposit at the KMA are presented. Due to the significant size of the quarry field, as well as to reduce the volume of overburden, its drainage is carried out using a combined surface and underground method. It has been established that currently the average annual inflow to the mine drainage varies within the range of 2150...2830 m3/h, of which most of the drainage water comes from the Bathonian aquifer (the main water supply reservoir — more than 70% of the water inflow) along with watering by precipitation, the supra-Callovian aquifer complex and ore-crystalline fractured waters. The relative stabilization of the regime of aquifer complexes and the volume of water inflows into the MGOK quarry over the past decades has been established. The negative impact of the mining enterprise is shown, which led to the formation of depressions on a regional scale and a significant depletion of groundwater reserves in the lower aquifer complex. The main production problems in the operation of the underground drainage complex have been identified, related to the difficulties associated with the operation of the quarry, as well as periodic disruptions to the normal operation of rising drainage wells, up to the complete failure of some of them. For the first time, field studies (downhole video recording) revealed previously unstudied deformations of the casing columns of raised drainage wells. The causes of deformations have been established, and specific measures have been developed to improve the reliability of raised drainage wells. Directions for the development of further research are outlined. The research results can be used for drainage by rising drainage wells not only in the KMA, but also in other fields with similar geological and hydrogeological conditions.

- Abstract:
- Determination of mineral residuals in stockpiles based on the results of surveying is an important task of the surveying service at any mining enterprise. Currently, the aerial photogrammetric method of surveying using UAVs is widely used for surveying because of its relative availability, efficiency and safety of work. The result of the survey is a digital terrain model containing millions of coordinated points. At the same time, the volume of the warehouse should be established taking into account the required value of the error of its determination. The main factors influencing the value of the volume determination error are identified, the classification of aerial survey methods is proposed. The results of researches on the influence of the revealed factors on the error value of volume calculation are presented. Recommendations are given for surveying and calculating the volumes of warehouses, providing the required level of volume determination error.

- Abstract:
- To obtain information on the presence and magnitude of deformation processes during the development of the Polar oil and gas condensate field, an integrated method of surveying and geodetic works was applied, including: high-precision geodetic satellite observations at all points of the field's observation network to determine global rock movements expressed by changes in the coordinates of points of the geodynamic polygon; high-precision leveling of a local section of a geodynamic polygon to determine vertical movements of rocks in the area of a geodynamically active zone; application of the radar interferometry method of stable reflectors to the oil and gas production region with a large number of manmade objects. In this paper, a comparative analysis of the anthropogenic impact of field development (based on accumulated maps of reservoir pressure selection and drop) on modern deformations of the Earth's surface (based on the results of satellite observations and radar interferometry) is performed.

- Abstract:
- The study of the karst territories for their use for optimal placement of subsurface use facilities, as well as the construction of engineering structures on them, is an important geotechnological and operational task. Based on the calculation of the hydraulic parameters of the geological environment, the article shows that karst objects are the cause of the formation of drainage regime and water loss, up to the drainage of this environment. It has been established that even small sizes of karst voids lead to fluctuations in the level of deep waters (UGW) and the formation of aeration layers. It is determined that in watered, deep strata, exploration and monitoring of karst objects is sufficiently reliable, in combination with the analysis of measured filtration rates according to the hydraulic model, methods of resistivimetry and thermometry of wells provide. Whereas, when mapping karsts above the UGV and in the covering strata, it is advisable to rely on the identification of signal aeration and dehumidification of the medium using the electrometric method, based on the connection of models of hydraulics and fields of electrical conductivity. The principal possibilities of geophysical methods of karst mapping are considered. It is established that the depth and coverage of exploration should exceed the size of the focus of filtration disturbances in the studied arrays. It is shown that the registration of high-frequency signals does not allow to ensure the reliability of the assessment of karstological safety.

- Abstract:
- A promising direction for solving the problem of producing small diamonds is to expand the range of enriched classes and reduce diamond losses through the use of modern technologies. The article presents the results of research on the causes of reduced hydrophobicity of Botuobinskaya tube diamonds and the choice of parameters for preparing the feedstock for the processes of sticky and foam separation, ensuring the restoration of surface properties and extraction of hydrophilized diamonds into concentrate. Studies have shown that the mineral coatings on the surface of diamonds are fragments of primary or modified kimberlites, as well as slurries and films, firmly connected to the surface of diamond crystals. Diamonds from hypergenically altered kimberlites are characterized by the predominance of carbonate and aluminosilicate minerals. It has been shown by the method of unrestricted flotation of diamond-kimberlite samples that the use of mechanical scrubbing is effective enough to remove slurry coatings, but does not provide complete removal of carbonate-aluminosilicate microbreccias firmly bound to the surface of diamonds. As a result of the conducted research, it is shown that for a more complete recovery of small diamonds from kimberlites enriched at the Nyurbinsky GOK, it is advisable to use the processes of mechanical stripping and thermal cleaning of diamonds from hydrophilizing coatings to restore their hydrophobicity. It is shown that the use of a combination of these methods provides an increase in diamond recovery during sticky separation by 14.1% and during foam separation by 20.4%. The level of recovery of hydrophilic diamonds (more than 82%) achieved using foam separation technology allows us to recommend this process for use in improving the technology of enrichment of small classes of diamonds.

- Abstract:
- The relevance of the study is due to the need to optimize technological processes in quarries for cement raw materials and increase the reliability and economic efficiency of deposit development. Surface Miner (SM) layer milling machines, allow carrying out thin-layer mining of deposits, to conduct rational use of subsoil, to increase industrial safety. During open-cast mining of cement raw materials deposits using layer milling machines (SM), the increase of economic efficiency of mining works may be achieved by determining rational values of parameters and indicators of the open cast mine. The main aim. To determinate the optimum productivity of cement industry quarries developed with layer milling machines (SM) ensuring increased reliability and economic efficiency of deposit development. Methodology. As the basic methods of research, we used monitoring of technological processes of the quarry, systematic analysis of the structure, characteristics, properties of technological complexes and links of quarries of cement plant Beocin (Serbia) developing complex structure carbonate deposits with the use of layer-milling machines. Dependence of duration of dump truck rides, number of rides per shift and number of dump trucks for 1 milling machine on the distance of rock mass transportation for mining-technical conditions of the quarries at the cement plant Beocin (Serbia) has been determined. Conclusions. Application of (SM) surface miners at cement industry open-pit mines ensures thin-layer mining of rock mass, reduction of ore losses and emissions of pollutants, rational use of subsoil, increase of industrial safety. Number of factors influences Surface Miner productivity: speed of the machine moving in the process of milling, width of the milling band, thickness of the mined layer, physical and mechanical characteristics of the mined rock and applied technological scheme. It is shown that the increase of Surface Miner productivity is achieved when the length of the front is increased, when the cyclic-continuous and continuous technology of deposit mining is used, and the auxiliary technological processes are minimized.
