- Abstract:
- The article describes the results of an experiment on the part-time operation of a solid waste landfill. Estimates of changes in the permeability of the rock mass under the influence of mining, the danger of penetration of harmful substances into the mine workings and the possibility of waterlogging of the earth’s surface in the drift under the landfill were carried out. A forecast of deformations of the earth’s surface under the landfill during lava mining has been made. Based on the research, the parameters of safe mining operations at the landfill were determined. The methodology proposed in the article can serve as a basis for mining reservoir deposits in similar conditions.

- Abstract:
- The article presents the results of research on the assessment of the stability of the slopes of the ledges of the Nezhdaninskoye quarry. The optimal slope angles of the ledges for the conditions of the Nezhdaninskoye quarry were established, possible mechanisms of slope destruction were identified, the causes of deformations were discussed and possible deformation scenarios were analyzed. It is determined that the safety and stability of the slopes of the ledges of the quarry are important for preventing collapses and minimizing risks. The use of new technologies and assessment methods makes it possible to increase the effectiveness of slope stability management. The results of the study are applicable to the design, mining and safety at the Nezhdaninskoye quarry and analog mining facilities.

- Abstract:
- This article analyzes the stress distribution in the area of tunnels with a trapezoidal cross-section in the zone of influence of mountain slopes, using the Kolosovo-Muskhelishvili method. An analytical model has been developed that takes into account various factors, such as mountain topography, tunnel location, hydrostatic pressure, volumetric and tectonic forces. The proposed approach makes it possible to more accurately determine the stressed state of rock masses around tunnels and predict possible deformations and destruction. The results obtained can be useful in the design and operation of underground structures, providing a more reliable assessment of the safety and stability of rocks.

- Abstract:
- The purpose of the article is to restore the quality of the region's ecosystems by minimizing damage from the storage of production tailings. Tailings storage removes agricultural land from circulation, pollutes the atmosphere, surface and groundwater, at the same time, tailings contain metals and rare elements, the extraction of which is possible with the improvement of technology, therefore their storage should ensure the possibility of subsequent involvement in production. Since tailings dumps play a major role in chemical pollution, the main measure to minimize their negative impact is to fix the walls of the storage facilities. The research methodology includes an analysis of the theory and practice of rehabilitation of degraded lands, modeling, calculations of ecological and economic validity and the results of approbation of solutions. Using the example of the storages of the Sadonsky lead – zinc Combine, the characteristics of the quantity and quality of tailings, as well as their condition, are given. Information is provided on the state of tailings storage in Russia and abroad. The results of the implementation of traditional methods for preventing transgression of tail components are presented. As an alternative, methods of fixation with the addition of surfactants and leaching products have been studied. The advantages of fixing the elements of the tailings basin with carbonate waste and leaching masterbatch solutions with the creation of physiological and chemical barriers by using solutions or mixing them in the process of penetration through minerals are substantiated. Information is provided on the indicators of securing tail storage arrays. It is shown that new ways of securing arrays in storage facilities are more consistent with the concept of rational and humane environmental management

- Abstract:
- The results of the study of the functioning of the drainage complex of the Mikhailovsky iron ore deposit are presented. Due to the significant size of the quarry field, as well as to reduce the volume of overburden, its drainage is carried out in a combined surface and underground way. It was revealed that in the process of constant development of the mining front and deepening of the quarry, part of the underground mining of the underground drainage complex turned out to be in the ended up in the undermining zone. The need to transfer mining operations for destruction arises when open-pit mining operations is approached at a distance equal to the size of the security pillar. The dimensions of the security pillars near the existing and projected underground drainage workings have been established. The volume of work on the repayment of drainage workings to be repaid in the period 2023-2032 has been estimated. taking into account the development of the mining front in three parts of the quarry: the central, connecting and southern (the northern part of the quarry has been mothballed). Various options for the development of an underground drainage complex have been developed and analyzed in the context of the reproduction of drainage mine workings with the production need for their destruction.

- Abstract:
- The approach to the purposeful complex development of a subsurface area in the formation of geo-resources, subsequently used as autonomous objects, is substantiated. The possibility of creating man-made tanks using current overburden rocks for the construction of a solar salt pond directly in the process of mining operations is considered. The options for providing waterproofing of the pond bed with the use of various heat carriers are presented. The conditions for the effective functioning of solar salt ponds in conditions of prolonged negative temperatures are formulated. Calculations of the minimum values of the technological parameters of the salt pond, ensuring its functioning in the climatic conditions of the Southern Urals, have been carried out. Technical solutions for laying and installing a working heat pipeline in the body of the enclosing lady of a solar salt pond are proposed. The expediency of using overburden rocks as materials for the construction of a salt pond is substantiated. A scheme has been developed for linking the performance of mining and stripping operations. The technology of formation of a solar salt pond during open-pit mining of solid mineral deposits is described.

- Abstract:
- The use of pavement with a higher coefficient of adhesion allows to increase the productivity of dump trucks, however, the difference in performance and the consequent validity of the use of more expensive materials in the construction of quarry roads are poorly studied. In the article, the roadways used in quarries with different coefficient of adhesion were selected. A number of experiments have been carried out, in a simulation model, simulating the movement of a dump truck along the same route, but with different types of road clothes, both throughout the entire route of the dump truck, and with the separation of categories of clothes on temporary and permanent roads. The results of the comparison were carried out and conclusions were drawn about the impact of the road surface on the performance of the dump truck.

Practical application of various shooting methods for determination of the volume of quarry production of dolomite deposits
DOI: 10.56195/20793332_2024_4_72_76
- Abstract:
- The article presents the results of the practical application of various survey methods to determine the volume of quarry mining of a dolomite deposit using software products. An analysis of methods for calculating quarry production volumes using various options for geodetic surveys and programs for calculating volumes using a digital surface model is presented. The approach to using various types of geodetic measuring instruments when taking measurements at a mineral deposit is substantiated. The survey processes that are used in various measurement methods and provide data on the size and shape of objects in the field are described in detail. This geospatial data is then used to calculate quarry production volumes and other exploration and mining tasks. The research results can be useful in the mining process, providing accurate information about the deposit and the volume of resources.
